Vétra manufactures in its own French factory since 1927 all its garments, thus benefiting of an unique savoir-faire.
This (high-density) poplin jacket stems from the jackets made by Vétra since the beginning for the French workers. This style is 5cm shorter than style #4 for a modern touch. Usually, Vétra used the poplin to make overshirts.
The term poplin originates from "papelino", a fabric made at Avignon, in the 15th century, where the papal residence was, and from the "papelaine" (a fabric, normally made with silk, of the same period).
This light handle, soft touch jacket, is perfect for summer.
